The Singapore Inventors Development Association and Alain A. Johns Partnership jointly organised a seminar on Introduction to Patent Rights. The seminar was held on Saturday, 4 January 2003 from 9.00am to 12.30pm at PSB Theatrette, 1 Science Park Drive, Singapore 118221.
The seminar was delivered by Mr. Ng Kim Tean, Managing Partner of Alain A. Johns Partnership. In his talk, Kim Tean introduced the law of patent right and examined what is patentable in a simple and easily understood manner. He also illustrated the basic concept of patent rights with examples and/or case studies; explain the legal issues involved; and how patent right is usually exploited commercially.
